REGENERATIVE CARE

From the regenerating power of Hyaluronic Acid to the future of medicine
After decades of research into Hyaluronic Acid, which is known for its benefits in stimulating the natural repair and regeneration processes in damaged tissues, today we are also progressing in the field of regenerative medicine. Regenerative medicine offers a promising synergistic role with Hyaluronic Acid, thanks to the development of new therapeutic strategies in the areas we work in. We have acquired and developed technologies to improve the availability of growth factors in tissues where there has been a loss in functionality (e.g. cartilage, soft tissues), but we also have other systems associated with adipose tissue and its wide-ranging potential.

For us, regenerative medicine means the possibility to counteract aging or loss of function of certain body tissues.

Autologous Biological Therapy
Regenerative medicine uses biological tissues found in the human body, such as blood or fat. These biological treatments are safe, as they are obtained from the patient’s own (autologous) tissue. Plasm-rich platelets (PRP) is obtained from the patient’s blood and contains mainly platelets and a large quantity of growth factors and other bioactive molecules, which accelerate tissue repair and regeneration processes. Stromal vascular fraction (SVF) is derived from the patient’s adipose tissue and consists of a heterogeneous mixture of growth factors and cell populations, including stem cells, with high anti-inflammatory and regenerative potential. Nanofat is derived from a small amount of liposuctioned adipose tissue, using a special procedure that gives an emulsion, enriched in regenerative cells and precursors, that can be injected through a fine needle in the most typical applications of regenerative aesthetic medicine.

The potential applications are:

Joint Care

Skin Care

Eye Care

Applications

These techniques can be used in outpatient settings or in the surgery room, and are only for use by qualified healthcare professionals.

Joint cartilage

Joint cartilage defects do not repair spontaneously and can lead to the development of osteoarthritis. PRP works to reduce chronic inflammation and favours the recovery of joint function.

Tendinopathies

The action of SVF stimulates the anti-inflammatory and regenerative processes in the treatment of tendinopathies, leading to rapid improvement.

Aesthetic medicine

The regenerative effect of “nanofat grafting” can be useful in eliminating blemishes around the eye, or in rejuvenating treatments for the décolleté.
